Cyclone Energy Group Announces the 6th Annual Innovation Rodeo
UPDATE: September 23, 2021 – – Week 1 video link:
September 1, 2021 – – Cyclone Energy Group announces the dates and speakers for their 6th Annual Innovation Rodeo. This annual event is traditionally a half-day event where we pick a theme and deep dive into it from the perspective of building designers, owners, and operators. The day is designed to share ideas and advance the built environment. As a result of the recent COVID surge, we have decided on a virtual platform again this year. To make it more convenient to attend all of our sessions, we have spread the topics out over a two week span.
All sessions will run from 10am – high noon
September 22: Performance-Based Healthy Buildings
Our first session will discuss measuring indoor air quality using sensors and how intelligent use of the data can help building operators maintain a healthy and efficient workspace. The session will overview emerging healthy building programs including the WELL Health-Safety Rating and WELL Building Standard v2. Illinois Green Alliance will present an update on programs and initiatives they are currently working on.
September 29: COVID-19 and Decarbonization: Where are we today?
Last year we had industry experts discuss indoor air quality related to the emergency of COVID-19 as well as decarbonization efforts in Chicago and throughout the Midwest. This year we’re going to see where those efforts stand today with the state of the pandemic and how progress continues on policies.
