Ian O’Connor
As an Energy Engineer, Ian is responsible for working with our clients and stakeholders to discover, evaluate, and report potential energy conservation measures. Prior to joining the Cyclone team, Ian was an energy engineer at both Wood Plc and Aramark.
Over the course of his professional career, Ian has audited over 8 million square feet of retail and light commercial space, identified $4.4 million of annual energy cost savings and developed nearly $14 million of energy conservation projects.
Ian lives in Atlanta, but lived most of his life in Gainesville Florida, where he graduated from The University of Florida with a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering.
Ian is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and ASHRAE. He holds a Professional Engineer license in the State of Georgia.
In his free time, you can find Ian cooking, riding a bike, or camping out in the wilderness.
