LEED v3 Gold BD+C: New Construction
The Hub Group, North America’s largest intermodal freight transport and freight transportation management companies, constructed a new corporate headquarters building in Oak Brook. Illinois. The new four-story facility supported their corporate culture, image, brand, and commitment to sustainability. Cyclone worked extensively with the Hub Group during the project and continues the relationship today. Cyclone assisted with the LEED v2009 Gold Certification providing commissioning, HVAC system selection consulting, and measurement and verification services. After opening the building Cyclone assisted Hub in earning the 179D Federal tax deduction and Cyclone worked with Hub to document and certify their ENERGY STAR rating.
